200 HR Yoga Teacher Training

Become certified to teach the Original 26 and 2 Hatha Yoga Series in 2024 with Hot Yoga Philadelphia. Spend six weekends in the studio, spread out from January to June, plus five days at the end of the training in an all inclusive training immersion experience at a Pocono Mountain Retreat location.

Thayne Dibble and Katelynn Ingersoll will lead the course with plenty of support from your favorite Hot Yoga Philadelphia senior instructors like Chris Fluck, Robyn King, Byron Franklin and Dan Murphy. Expect guest teachers from neighboring studios plus visits to local cultural sites and temples as we explore yoga history and philosophy throughout the training.

The Benefits of Teaching This Style

This method of hot yoga was developed in the 1970s, though the postures are much older.  This method works every muscle, joint, and organ in one session. It is a beginners level practice, because MOST body types can master MOST postures in the series with steady practice. The student does not need to be especially flexible or have any specific body type. Because of its health benefits, and accessibility, this practice is increasing in popularity and can be found in yoga studios worldwide.

Gain the Confidence to Teach Immediately

During your training you will gain comprehensive understanding on how to properly teach the sequence as well as how to deliver maximum benefit to your students. Learn the proper structure of each pose and the verbiage necessary to give posture corrections throughout the class.  You’ll gain the confidence and knowledge of how to address common injuries and conditions through this therapeutic yoga sequence.
